Found Again !

When Pete and Sue were on their way back from New Zealand towards the end of last year, they had a "very boring twelve hours" to kill in Melbourne airport. Sue says, "Things got so desperate we resorted to reading the telephone directories looking for family names" (Having just been bumming around New Zealand like Gap-Year students it is difficult to believe that they couldn't find a bar ! )

Pete found Conrad listed in Perth, wrote him a letter, then and there and sent it to him along with a christmas card.

Pete says Conrad Grero is his second cousin, the son of Phyliss and Bonnie Grero. Phyliss is the daughter of Abigail Serpanchy nee Rebera, grandad's sister. So Phyliss is Pete, Joan, Noel, Luke and Ron's cousin and Conrad and his sisters; Lynette and Desarie, are second cousins. 

Pete remembers that Conrad and his sisters used to come back to 152 Galle Road (The Rebera family home in Sri Lanka) after nursery school to wait for their parents to pick them up and they were also at all the family parties.   Hello ! most recently found extended family. Please keep in touch.
