Since my laptop has become desperately short of space and is showing signs of self-preservation by switching itself off with absolutely no warning whatsoever - I have decided that a jolly good back-up is long over due.
This means moving more than 10 Gigabytes (!) of photos somewhere safe like my web server which is by no means a 5 minute job but thankfully it can all be ftp'd. The trick thing is to make sure that all of those photos, in their original state are viewable and downloadable if needs be.
There are different categories so you'll see some Evie picture's appearing aswell and when you click on the individual shots you'll get the actual original image file. This means that it won't load very quickly but it will be the unadulterated version and printing wise - totally Granny-proof !
So there is a new menu item 'The Gallery' where you can see literally ALL of Sammy's photos since his very first day ! BUT you need to be logged in to see the GALLERY.

The Day of the Dead
It was a Hallowe'en Party for the kids - like we need an excuse to dress up.
In Spain the 'Day of The Dead' is November 1st and having seriously celebrated Hallowe'en I now know how the dead feel.

Awaiting Restaurant Review
For those of us NOT lucky enough to live within waddling distance of a Sri Lankan Restaurant we wait, gripping our forks with baited breath and watering mouths (can you do both at once? - I know I am) ... waiting for every last detail. So if Andrew, Ariane, Michael or Georgie want to write a few morsels for us in the way of a Review we'd be so grateful.
